Food for Thought Poem and Calligraphy

We thought you’d enjoy this Food for Thought poem by calligraphy artist, Martha Stevens Grow as much we did. We found it completely relatable!

Food for Thought

She did oodles of doodles
Before eating noodles
On this frigid and dark winter’s night
The fire was roaring
It was just a tad boring
Four hours before the daylight
Okay, let’s make coffee,
Might there be toffee?
Or some other crunchy delight?
Oh just go back to bed
Purge those thoughts from your head
‘Cause your britches are getting too tight.
