We are on a mission to elevate, educate and empower the My Trainer Fitness audience, readers and customers, to live their most energized, engaged, elevated and empowered lives.  We are people just like you, striving to be healthier and fitter, in body, mind and spirit.

MyTrainerFitness.com is brought to you from amongst you. We are fitness professionals and their clients.  We are—most of us—not perfect fitness models, but rather imperfect creatures seeking to live healthier lifestyles, and to become increasingly fitter and healthier as life goes on.

Our readers are also our writers, and we welcome your contributions. Most of our contributors write for the pleasure of writing and being a part of this My Trainer Fitness community. As we grow, we look forward to being able to pay more and more regular contributors, and naturally we will first consider hiring those freelance writer’s who have contributed the most during our infant and toddler stages of growth.

Length:
We have no guidelines for this. It’s YOUR story, so that means however many words it takes to share what’s important.  However, if we need to revise the length, we will let you know and invite you to review the final copy before publishing.

Editorial Rights:
MyTrainerFitness.com reserves the right to approve content and subject matter, to edit grammar and punctuation, and to edit content without changing the meaning (such as reducing words to shorten an article when to do so enhances the article without compromise). We also reserve the right to reject any article that we perceive to not be in alignment with our mission and mindset, and we will immediately reject or alter any articles containing expletives or other negative or derogatory language.

Focus:
Our focus at MyTrainerFitness.com is to elevate, educate, engage, and empower. If you have a story or an article idea in the health, fitness, nutrition or lifestyle genres that fits those concepts , then it’s probably right for us. As indicated above, we will reject stories with profanity, vulgarity, rudeness or negativism. If you have a negative experience that’s a part of your story, you may be able to share that, however it would be in context of simply sharing truth, while dwelling on the solutions that worked and not on what didn’t work.

Your story!
If you’ve made major changes to your health and fitness, share your stories and pictures! Your story can inspire and encourage others who may be where you were when you started.

Others Stories?
If you know of someone whose story inspires you, please either forward them this info, or, perhaps you’d like to write their story for them and share it as an article?

Resources:
Your favorite resources for those in the Boomer and Beyond generations. This is not the place to sell your own stuff (though we welcome affiliations and ads from kindred products and sources), but rather, to write authentically about things that you love or that has helped you, made your life better, etc., and the what and why.

Programs:
Programs you’ve participated in that you like. Share about what it is, why you like it and how it’s helped you.  Be objective, sharing the strengths and weaknesses, yet without negativism or being caustically critical.

Health & Wellness:
What do you do to stay healthy and active? What about positive health stories (solutions, remedies, weightloss, etc)? Experience with alternative and holistic healing? Prevention? Medical Tourism?

Travel:
Fitness Travel stories:  Fitness pro trips with lodging in exchange for instruction, Volunteer trips; cycling vacations; other health/fitness and alternative kinds of travel, how you stay fit when traveling, or just your favorite places to visit and why.

Book Reviews:
What are your favorite books, and why? Please share both non-fiction and fiction.

Business:
What business stories can you share? Do you own a successful business? Love your work and want to share about it? Are you an entrepreneur with a story to share?  Are you successful yet or still struggling?  Have you invested in a franchise?  Are you an angel investor or venture capitalist, seeing lots of start-ups and their greatest strengths and weaknesses?  Are you an online marketer, network marketer, coach, software developer, author, speaker, artist, etc?
